OUTREACH EVENTS 

Are you planning a festival for your school or maybe even a wedding? Would having LIVE native North Carolina wildlife at your event make it even better? Piedmont Wildlife Center is here to help! Fill out our Outreach Interest Form below and we’ll be in contact soon.

Outreach Event Details

Our animals’ safety is our highest priority. In order to safely attend your event, the following will apply to all outreach events:

  • PWC’s time at your event must be no more than 2 hours

  • Our booth must be in a shady/indoor place or we must have the ability to set up a 10x10 tent

  • Preferably away from loud noises (stages, loud noisemakers), balloons, flying objects and other live animals

Our outreach price is $100/hour for no more than 2 hours and includes:

  • A unique opportunity to see 2-3 live NC wildlife species up-close! Reptiles may be touched by event participants.

  • At least 2 knowledgeable and engaging PWC volunteers

  • Information regarding PWC offerings (camps, citizen science projects, at-school animal programs)

  • The option for PWC to setup donation jars to offset costs of our outreach price (fill out interest form for more details)
