PWC will be at Southpoint Mall on Thursday, 3/14/24 from 5:00-6:30pm so swing by to meet some animals and for a quick bite to eat. The fundraiser runs all day long.

On May 27th, join us at Avery Family Farm for a day of goat yoga and animal snuggles - all in support of nature connection and environmental education!

Avery Family Farm is hosting a day of special public classes to raise funds for PWC, including two sessions of therapeutic goat yoga (10 AM and 12 PM) and an intensive goat/horse snuggles class (2 PM). A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to Piedmont Wildlife Center.

Staff from Piedmont Wildlife Center will be on hand to talk about our education and conservation programs. A little bird told us our Ambassador Animals will make an appearance, too!

Registration required. Tickets are limited, so sign up early! Yoga classes are $26/person, goat snuggles class is $23/person. Ages 6 to adult.

Join Paper & Stars Studio on an epic quest to discover a time of castles, knights, and dragons at Adventure Awaits! Come by PWC’s table (time TBA) to meet some of our Ambassador Animals, ask all your NC wildlife questions, and learn how we help people connect with nature at Piedmont Wildlife Center.

About Piedmont Earthskills Gathering:

Explore classes in primitive skills, homesteading and ancestral crafts like blacksmithing, basketmaking, natural artists pigments, leather work, and knot-tying.  Learn survival skills like friction fire, making cordage from natural fibers, and wayfinding through Astronomy.

Bring some unique or hand-made items that you're ready to pass on for some friendly bartering at the afternoon "trade-blanket" - a crowd favorite. At the end of each day of learning, connect with like-minds around the community campfire with storytelling and music. And sleep under the stars.

Family friendly with activities for all ages – and kids under 8 are free. Learn new skills and tighten family bonds!

This community-building outdoor event is open to the public and will be taking place at the 2,690 acre Hill Forest outside of Durham, NC.  Registration required.

Celebrate North Carolina farming culture and history at Duke Homestead. This event will feature many old favorite activities - as well as a visit from some of PWC’s own Ambassador Animals! Come by our table to meet some animal friends, hear about NC wildlife, and learn how we help people connect with nature at PWC.
