About Piedmont Earthskills Gathering:

Explore classes in primitive skills, homesteading and ancestral crafts like blacksmithing, basketmaking, natural artists pigments, leather work, and knot-tying.  Learn survival skills like friction fire, making cordage from natural fibers, and wayfinding through Astronomy.

Bring some unique or hand-made items that you're ready to pass on for some friendly bartering at the afternoon "trade-blanket" - a crowd favorite. At the end of each day of learning, connect with like-minds around the community campfire with storytelling and music. And sleep under the stars.

Family friendly with activities for all ages – and kids under 8 are free. Learn new skills and tighten family bonds!

This community-building outdoor event is open to the public and will be taking place at the 2,690 acre Hill Forest outside of Durham, NC.  Registration required.
