Organization

Piedmont Wildlife Center is a federally approved 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation incorporated in the State of North Carolina. The center is governed by a Board of Directors elected at an annual October meeting as specified in our bylaws (available here in MS Word (doc) or Adobe Acrobat (pdf) formats).

Day to day operations are overseen by our Executive Director, Gail Abrams, and our Wildlife Veterinarian, Cheryl Hoggard, DVM.

The Center is blessed with many active volunteers who are passionate about wildlife and working to better the conditions for wildlife in our area. These volunteers have been and will be critical to the achieving our mission. The Executive Director and Board of Directors wish to recognize their contribution.
