Treasures Wanted - PWC’s Auction on eBay eBay logo

We are looking for items that would sell well to a national audience through auction on eBay. Suitable items include antiques, collectibles, rare books or manuscripts, musical instruments, coins and stamps, historical memorabilia, vintage toys, posters or prints, and silver. It’s a perfect gift for the animal lover on your list. Sponsorships start at $35. Your gift recipient will receive a personalized sponsorship certificate and a card featuring a color picture and a fact sheet about the animal ambassador you choose. (more)

Sales of Hand-Made, One-of-a-kind Jewelry, to benefit the Center TESS bracelet

A new and creative display of one-of-a-kind jewelry, hand-made by two Chapel Hill artisans, now resides at the Hairspraye Salon, located just behind the Staples store in the Gateway Commons shopping center off of Franklin Street, Chapel Hill.

Each creation contains its own unique combination of sterling silver, semi-precious stones, ceramics, wood, bone, shell, and/or Swarovski crystal, and belongs to one of several TESS lines, including Girls' Night Out, Nine to Five, A Wish Upon the Moon, In Harmony, Gifts from the Sea, and more. And, coming very soon, TESS KIDS!

You will find TESS jewelry to be very reasonably priced. TESS will donate a portion of every sale to the Piedmont Wildlife Center. Hairspraye is open Tuesday through Saturday, and is located at 1708 E Franklin St. # B, Chapel Hill, Phone (919) 967-6565.

Link your Food Lion MVP Card to the Piedmont Wildlife Center: If you are already a Food Lion shopper and use an MVP card, you can link your card to PWC and Food Lion will donate a small percentage of sales made with that card to the Wildlife Center, up to $1,400 per year.

Click the "Select Organization" button and specify "NC", then "Chapel Hill", and then "Piedmont Wildlife Center" in the box that subsequently pops-up. (Sales at all Food Lion stores count under this program, "Chapel Hill" just refers to the location of our administrative office.)

Enter the number from the back of your MVP card

If sales using MVP cards linked to PWC are at least $6,000 during one calendar quarter, Food Lion will make a donation to PWC. The donation can range from $50 to $350 per quarter, or up to $1,400 per year.

PWC’s Store: come check out our large selection of original wildlife art on t-shirts ($10-15), water bottles ($2), notecards ($1-10), magnets ($1-3) and corian cutting boards ($25)! All proceeds go towards care of the animals at our clinic.
