Celebrate Spring at the Fifth Annual Festival for Wildlife!
Spring is here again and what better way to celebrate than at our Fifth Annual Festival for Wildlife! This year’s festival will take place on Saturday, May 12th from 12 to 5 pm. There will be live animals, live music, food, crafts, games, displays, and plenty more to entertain you for the entire day!
We are working on our line-up of exhibitors including the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, NC Museum of Life and Science, Carolina Tiger Rescue, Triangle Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic, Orange County Beekeepers Society and NC Herpetological Society. These groups and many others will be bringing live animal 
displays, informational booths, and fun activities for children and adults alike! Check back in March for a full line-up of exhibitors.
In addition to all the animal fun, there will be live entertainment all day long from many of our favorite local bands. This year we will have two stages of live music with the addition of our new Oak Forest Stage! Check back in March to see our list of entertainers.
Tickets are on sale now! Buy your tickets online in advance for a discounted price. Advance tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for teens, and children 12 and under get in FREE! Day-of prices are $10 for adults, $5 for teens, and $2 for children 12 and under. Whichever way you pay, your ticket contribution will be put towards advancing Piedmont Wildlife Center’s mission of fostering healthy connections among people, wildlife and nature.
So invite your family, friends, and neighbors! Then grab a hat and some shades and come on down to Leigh Farm Park to support a great cause while having a hoot of a time!
Our Paperhand Puppet Parade will be part of the festivities again this year – dress up in wildlife attire (flora or fauna) and join the parade!
