The amazing world of wildcrafting is full of unexpected treats and surprises. Make sumac jelly, wild acorn pancakes, sourwood lemonade, cattail bread, blackberry pie, chickweed salad, and other delicious treats from the forest. Create salves, teas, and syrups. Weave baskets, twist cordage and more! Find out what puts the jewel in jewelweed, where to find a pawpaw fruit and how compass plant gets its name. On our wilderness quests through the forests, fields and swamplands, we will venture on and off trail to explore the Piedmont and we will unlock the secrets hidden in wild plants that grow all around us.
