Can’t attend the auction? Donate NOW and help fund one of our Auction Causes!
This year’s event will have a whole new format! The silent auction will be done via a smartphone device you will receive when you check-in. All of the items will be displayed along the edge of the venue for you to see but you won’t need to write on any of those old bid forms! Just call up the item # on the smartphone, click your bid and you’re done. You’ll be notified if someone has outbid you on an item and you can set your device to watch any items you want to make sure you don’t miss. You can also “BUY NOW” on any item at 120% of market value and the item will be taken off bid and be yours to purchase! Bid from anywhere in the venue, at any time until the auction closes at 9:30.
Four bands will perform during the evening and we’ll have a short live auction of 2-3 items in between bands so you won’t have to wait until the end of the evening to bid on those once-in-a-lifetime items. This year’s Auctioneer, Randy Hartness, was recommended by our favorite auctioneer, Richard Craney, because he couldn’t attend himself.
Since the silent auction bidding will be done in real-time, a big screen in the front of the room will keep you up to date on item bidding and anytime someone makes a donation for one of our Fund a Cause Items. Our Gala Emcee, Allan Brady, will keep everyone up to date on any hot items and those items with no bids so you can be the first bidder and get the chance to win an iPad!
Live Music will be provided by:
- Blue Tailed Skinks
- The Hellbenders
- The Cliches
- Rootzie
